David and Caroline Fleuriel will welcome you to their boutique in the historic center of Vence. David’s specialties: Black Bigorre pork and Coutancie beef. But also veal from Périgord, lamb from Aveyron, highly labeled poultry also figure prominently here. Without forgetting tabbouleh, various salads, each more succulent than the other. A smile and professionalism have made his small artisanal shop a quality reference for connoisseurs who come from afar to unearth the meat for their lovely Sunday feasts.

A quality craftsman !

Not trivial, the course of David Fleuriel. This native of Normandy was destined to be a cook and his rich career had led him from Joël Robuchon at “Jamin” to Jacques Maximin at the “Diamant Rose”, passing Alain Ducasse at the “Louis XV”, before finding the bubbling “Maximin” in Vence. But his marriage, then his two children, had made him think about a new quality of life. It was then that he decided to learn a new trade in one of the oldest butcher shops in Vence: that of Jacques Harel, which he then bought, defending only the “top” of farm quality.

Palanque Bakery

Our supplier for all breakfast pastries, ficelles and other baguettes… and of course its famous Craquelin!

Palanque is a Vençoise institution, created in 1927 by Joseph Palanque, and transmitted from father to son for 3 generations.

The "Craquelin"

What at first was just a small ball of brioche dough with a few almonds has become over time a real myth, a gourmet pleasure that everyone loves.

Even if it is often copied, the secret of the knack and the taste remain well kept!

Perrin Grocery

Our favorite supplier of ravioli, gnocchi, stuffed niçois, fresh pasta, various and varied sauces, and all these sorts of typically Mediterranean things…

They can deliver everywhere in France, so do not hesitate if you want to find these delicious flavors back home.

All their addresses: Perrin-Ravioli

Some history...

Yesterday and tomorrow… the Comté de Nice is at the crossroads of French and Italian culinary traditions. The first is renowned for the refinement of its cuisine, the second for the authenticity of its flavors. On this border, they have intertwined and influenced each other since the County joined France more than 150 years ago.

Métin Cheese Refinery

The Maître Affineur Thomas Métin is our source of inspiration for our cheese platters, very much in the French tradition… He is the supplier of many starred restaurants in the area!

With more than 150 cheeses, and a maturing cellar, Fromagerie Métin is nestled in the Haut Pays of Nice, in Vence more precisely. Not far from the famous historic city “St Paul de Vence”, this small local artisan has respected the dairy product for many years.
